The National Airport Minsk is about 40 km away from the city and there are several ways of how to cut through them.
Here are all of them perfectly explained.
300E bus or 1400TC/1430TC minibus
Probably the most convenient way to reach the city center is by bus. It will bring you to the central bus station plus you get a free sightseeing tour as the bus goes through the main city avenue. You can buy your ticket in the airport terminal, from the driver or online (although you may need some help there as the website is kinda old school and in Russian only). The bus and minibus tickets cost 4 BYN (€ 1.6). If you buy from the driver, only Belarusian currency will be accepted, so exchange a small amount at the airport. The road takes about an hour and the bus also stops at Uručča metro station. There are buses running round the clock leaving every 15-30 minutes (less often at night). The bus stop in the airport is directly at the exit of sectors № 5-6 in the arrivals area.
Taxi
Taxis are waiting for their passengers in front of the sectors № 5-6 in the arrivals area. The distance from the National Airport Minsk to the closest metro station Uručča is about 33 km, to the center of Minsk – 42 km. Travel time is around 30-40 minutes. If you are ordering a city taxi the prices start at 35 BYN (€ 15). Most popular taxi options: 135, 7788, 157, 107, 152.
Official transfer
The airport offers its own transfer service which is actually a taxi as well, but they promise English-speaking drivers, 24/7 service and a possibility to book a car in advance. The price is fixed: 30 BYN (€ 13), 40 BYN (€ 16) for a premium class automobile or 6-seater and 120 BYN (€ 48) for a minibus with 17 seats. You can order a car by calling 7373, writing an email to bronirovanie@airport.by or online. All the cars are equipped with child safety seats and provide free Wi-Fi.
Rent a Car
Finally, you can rent a car for maximum freedom and independence from transport schedules. You can find several car rentals directly at the airport on the 1st floor, sector 3-4 (Sixt, Auto-Sale, Avis), the price for one day is about € 40-50. You can check the cars and prices here.
