In spring 2020, the Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will launch a direct flight from Minsk to Budapest. This was announced by Artem Sikorsky, Director of the Aviation Department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Belarus.
The Hungarian Aviation Administration has sent a draft memorandum of understanding on the appointment of a Hungarian carrier. Now, according to Sikorsky, the parties need to negotiate and sign the document.
It is assumed that the flight Minsk – Budapest will be daily. The flights to other cities of the European Union have not yet been discussed.
